#Details

To be a creator in the music industry today encompasses more than just the creation of art. A changing digital climate affects the way music and art is marketed, the role technology plays in its production and ultimately, the way it is serviced to the public. It can be daunting to think about all the new ways that music can be marketed and serviced and as such, we’ve seen some important questions result.

What role will labels play in a social creator’s world?

Can radio still break an artist?

Are streaming services sustainable?

Is the blockchain and DAOs the answer?

Will livestreaming still be a thing?

Paige X. Cho (Bolster) will lead a panel discussion on the future of music marketing; bringing artists, platforms, creators and experts together to demystify a rapidly changing industry and point to some directions forward.

Want to hear wisdom from Govind? Head to BIGSOUND's Roundtables on Wednesday, 7th September at 3:45PM - 5:15PM in Cloudland's Rose Room to ask your questions in these deep-dive conversations!
