When rummaging through an old trunk in his family home, a 7 year old LEMAIRE came across Redman’s highly explicit album, 'Doc’s Da Name'. He began listening in secret, and before long an obsession with hip-hop was born. LEMAIRE continued gathering influence from a range of artists through his teenage years, (Anderson .Paak, Kendrick Lamar, Drapht, James Brown) all of which shaping and defining the sunkissed, guitar-heavy, hip-hop sounds he is known for today.
