Chelsea Gough has a background in tertiary education, small business management & visual arts. For the last 13 years Chelsea has worked alongside her sibling Jaime Gough to build their independent family business Native Tongue Music Publishing, with the aim of being the best independent publishing option in the region. Native Tongue now represents over 1 million copyrights with a growing roster of local talent, a formidable repertoire of international catalogues and a stellar local and international reputation. Native Tongue was recently acquired by their long-time partner Concord Music Publishing, the Nashville based independent music powerhouse. Chelsea’s role as Senior Vice President, Concord Music Publishing ANZ will enable her to develop the strength of the independent publishing market in Australia and New Zealand, and be pivotal to Concord’s strategic planning in Australasia.
