Country Music Association - VP of International Relations and Development

#About

As VP of international relations and development for the Country Music Association of America (CMA), Milly Olykan works with industry leaders in Nashville and around the world to help develop country markets. Relocating from London in 2018 where she was VP of live music and major arena events for AEG Presents and co-promoter of Country to Country - the UK and Irelands’ largest country music festival, she led country touring for AEG and established Country Music Week.

C2C has changed the landscape for country artists touring the UK and Europe and her role in establishing multiple showcasing opportunities has provided significant platforms for new artists and songwriters.

In March 2018, CMA awarded her The Jo Walker-Meador International Award, which recognises outstanding achievement by an individual in territories outside the United States. Prior to joining the CMA staff Milly served on the CMA Board of Directors since 2014 and was chair of the CMA International Committee 2017.

Starting her career in New Zealand - she has a background in artist management, promoting, and tour management, she moved to the UK in 2003. Following producing and curating festivals for IMG Artists, booking tours for Universal Music, Milly initially joined AEG in 2011 to produce Sundance London for The O2 London.
