Ninakaye (Ngāti Maniapoto) is sister to major Aotearoa artist / producer Tiki Taane, and has managed his career and label since 2007. A strong advocate for positive change within the Aotearoa music industry, she is a Trustee of the Māori Music Industry Coalition, mentor for the Aotearoa Music Managers Forum and facilitator of workshops in Sexual Harm Prevention.
With extensive experience across multiple industries, Ninakaye is hailed by her family as a “human Swiss Army Knife”. 21 years “clean”, as a recovered stripper / addict and resilient grandmother, it is her personal life’s journey that she credits as her most profound school of learning.
