Mitch Wilson (they/them) was recently appointed to lead the Australian Festival Association, which advocates for festival producers, promoters and suppliers. The AFA was formed in 2018 in response to government attempts to regulate music festivals out of existence and has since grown significantly in both membership and influence. Prior to the AFA, Mitch worked in contemporary music policy for over six years, including for Members of Parliament, Live Nation and Sydney Mardi Gras.
