Jono Harrison is the Artist & Label Partnership Lead at Spotify, responsible for building and maintaining relationships with the artist community and their labels, enabling stronger value exchange to ultimately connect audiences and artists, empowering the local creative community.
Within his role, Jono has managed a number of successful artist projects including the launch of Tame Impala’s interactive edition of their fourth studio album, ‘The Slow Rush’, and the partnership with Sampa The Great to bring her album, ‘The Return’, to life at Footscray Community Arts Centre in Melbourne. He is also heavily involved in advocating for the First Nations artist community, dedicated to creating more spaces for music by emerging First Nations artists.
Prior to Spotify, Jono held a number of roles in music and radio, having worked at Mushroom Group as a Radio & Streaming Manager, promoting Mushroom Group's label and touring acts to Australian radio and streaming services. Prior to this he spent several years at triple j, where he produced the Like A Version segment, was Executive Producer of Breakfast with Matt and Alex, and picked up a 2016 ARIA nomination for their comedy album, 'Play It Out'.
